A NEW library is set to open in a bid to replace an axed council-run mobile service.
The facility will be based in Blurton Community Centre and will provide more than 500 books for loan.
It comes after the Stoke-on-Trent City Council scrapped its mobile library in 2011.
Now an appeal has been launched to find volunteers to run the new service.
